Like Tryke is a very fast evaporating, non-chlorinated cleaning solvent with very low ozone depleting potential (ODP of 0.002 – 0.03), short atmospheric lifetime (16 days) and low global warming potential. It is suitable for use in a variety of cleaning equipment and has a cleaning performance comparable to many of the traditional chlorinated solvents.

Like Tryke is non-flammable, safe to use, (providing proper levels of worker protection and ventilation are observed) and has none of the environmental concerns compared to the existing alternatives to 1,1,1 Trichloroethane. It is suitable for the removal of oils, greases, resins and related contaminants from metallic and other solvent resistant surfaces. It can be used for precision and general purpose cleaning in cold dip or ultrasonic baths. Like Tryke  is compatible with most materials making it ideal for cleaning electronic circuit boards, bearings, precision tooling and many other applications.

Like Tryke is NOT suitable for vapour degreasing systems and should only be used for cold cleaning or aerosol applications. It is also not suitable for domestic use and proper ventilation and worker protection should be provided.
